School Trip to Spain: Sevilla, Cádiz and El Puerto de Santa María

We were happy to welcome Danesfield Manor in El Puerto de Santa María . The group stayed with us in our Spark Residence where they took part in our Spanish classes and learned about the Spanish culture through the cultural activities that the Spark team had organized.
Their trips started on Tuesday with their arrival at Sevilla where they were picked up by the Chaperone.Then they had a walk through Plaza España, had some lunch in Parque María Luisa, afterwards they visited Sevilla’s city centre and had some shopping time before going to the Maestranza where they enjoyed a tour and learned about Tauromaquía. Everyone were then transferred to El Puerto, once arrived to the Spark residence, they all gathered to the rooftop, had some showers, played some games and enjoyed together a nice barbeque.
On Wednesday, they started by enjoying a spanish lesson then they went to see el Puerto de Santa María city centre and having a tour of Castillo de San Marcos. The day continued by going to Coto de la Isleta wehere they started by making some treetop acyivities followed by soem fun games and activities. After a really long day they had dinner and then they enjoyed a film together before going to bed.
On Thursday, they das another amzing spanish lesson before having some delicious churros before everyone went to Cadiz. They visited Torre Tavira and learned about Cádiz history, also aboutCadiz’s Carnaval in the Museo del carnaval and had some free time for shopping or seeing more of the city. That same night, they went to a local restaurante to have some delicious tapas, they then had time to relax while watching a film before going to bed.
On their last day they had their departure ceremony with pictures of their stay and everyone got a Spanish certificate! At the end they went to Sevilla and took their flight back to the UK.
We enjoyed our time with Danesfield here and hope it was a memorable experience for everyone.
