School Trip to Spain: Cadiz, Sevilla and El Puerto de Santa Maria.
Wychwood – October 2022
The second group Spark welcomed in October was Wychwood. This school group stayed with one of the lovely host families in El Puerto de Santa María that spark have close contact with. We had a great time meeting everyone and making it a memorable experience! The group took part in our Spanish classes and learned about the Spanish culture through the many activities that the Spark team had organized.
Each day started with 4 hours of Spanish class where they learned all kinds of things and did activities to put their knowledge to the test.
On Monday the groups went to the Castle and had a tour there. After that, they went to the beach.
On their second day, they had two typical Spanish classes. They made paella and had a Flamenco dance class. After 2 rounds everyone moved to the roof and enjoyed the delicious paella they made. Later that day Spark organized a departure ceremony to show the group the photos taken during their stay here and to hand out a Spanish certificated to everyone.
On the third day, the group went on the ferry to Cadiz to see Torre Tavira and ate churros con chocolate.
Thursday was their last day here and they spent it going to Sevilla to see Alcázar and the Plaza de Españar.
We loved having Wychwood here and making it a memorial experience for everyone.
