School Trip to Spain: Andalusia and El Puerto de Santa Maria
Wheatley Park School Trip – March 2020
We were very excited when we found out that Wheatley Park was interested in joining us here at Spark in El Puerto de Santa María for a few days. We couldn´t wait to make their experience an incredibly memorable one! The group stayed with us in our wonderful Spark Residence where they took part in our Spanish classes and learned about the Spanish culture through the many cultural activities that the Spark team had organised.
To start off the adventures, the group had some fun on the sunny beaches in El Puerto. Following on from that, the group did a few cultural excursions around the local area, visiting some of the most beautiful tourist attractions – Torre Tavira and Parque Genoves. The group also had plenty of time to enjoy some signature Spanish dishes – tapas and paella. But let´s not forget about the flamenco classes that the group participated in where they danced around on the Spark rooftop with our wonderful flamenco teacher guiding them and afterwards experienced the joy of the Carnaval in the center of El Puerto!
To say the least, we had an amazing time with Wheatley Park and we hope that all the students and teachers made some incredible memories that they get to take back home with them 🙂
