Danesfield Manor School May 2018

Danesfield Manor School visited us in El Puerto de Santa María and spent an amazing week with us full of incredible experiences . The group stayed in our beautiful Spark Residence   where they also took Spanish classes and participated in a variety of cultural activities.  The students had the opportunity to visit the some of the most beautiful places in the area and spend a few days living like locals.

The school had time to explore El Puerto and visit some of the most famous places in town like the bullring, the market, the castle of San Marcos and the beautiful Playa Puntilla. They also traveled to Cadiz by ferry where they visited the watchtower Torre Tavira and they had the traditional Spanish breakfast, churros with chocolate. The students also had the opportunity to travel to Sevilla and enjoy sightseeing. They visited the palace Alcazar and Plaza de España. Students participated in many fun classes and activities such as paella cooking class while they also traveled to Toruños to do kayaking. What is more, they also had the chance to go to Gibraltar where they had a guided tour and they saw Europe point, Hardings Battery, Pillars of Hercules, St. Michael´s Cave and Siege Tunnels.

It was a pleasure having Danesfield Manor School with us and we hope all students and teachers had an unforgettable experience!
