School Trip to Spain: Cadiz, Jerez and El Puerto de Santa Maria.
Stepney All Saints – July 2022
Spark started the month of July with a visit from Stepney All Saints to El Puerto de Santa María. We enjoyed meeting everyone and making it a memorable experience! The group stayed with us in our wonderful Spark Residence where they took part in our Spanish classes and learned about the Spanish culture through the many cultural activities that the Spark team had organized.
They arrived in Sevilla and visited Giralda. Later that day all the students and teachers were welcomed at Spark.
On Tuesday everyone got a tour around El Puerto de Santa Maria to see the Castillo. They had free time for the rest of the day to go to the beach, shop, or stay at the Spark residence.
On their third day, they went to Cadiz on the ferry and saw Torre Tavira, Parque Genovés and ate churros con chocolate.
The next day started with a visit to the market to get some ingredients. Later that day, the group was divided into three groups and did the following activities: Paella’s cooking lesson, Flamenco dance class, and Spanish lesson. The day ended with a departure ceremony where Spark showed a slideshow and handed everyone a Spanish certificate.
We enjoyed the time we spend with Stepney All Saints and we hope that all the students and teachers did the same.
