Long Stratton High School trip to Spain-2018

School Trip to Spain: Andalusia and El Puerto de Santa Maria
LSHS School June 2018
Long Stratton High School visited us in El Puerto de Santa María and had an unforgettable experience. The school stayed with host families where they were welcomed and treated as part of the family. They also took classes in the beautiful Spark Residence. They had the opportunity to spend a few days experiencing life as locals, participating in fun activities and  visiting some of the most famous places of the area.

The school had the chance to explore the beauty of El Puerto and the area around it. They visited the historical Castillo San Marcos and the marvellous beach Playa Puntilla. The students and teachers also spent a day in the coastal city of Cadiz where they visited Torre Tavira and had a tour of the watchtower. They also had the opportunity to taste the delicious churros with chocolate before they return by ferry to their base. Part of their trip was also a paella cooking class and a flamenco class that brought students closer to the culture of Spain! On their last day, students visited Ronda and had the time to explore the city and visit some of its most famous sights.

It was a pleasure having LSHS with us and we hope all students and teachers had an unforgettable experience!
