School Trip to Spain: Andalusia and El Puerto de Santa Maria

Schule am Burgfield School visited us in El Puerto de Santa María and had an unforgettable experience. The school stayed with host families that provided them with boarding and lodging so the students had the opportunity to live like locals for a few days. They also took Spanish classes in the beautiful Spark Residence where they also participating in fun activities. During their trip the school visited some of the most famous places of the area.
The school had the chance to explore the beauty of El Puerto and the area around it. They visited the historical Castillo San Marcos, the bullring and the marvellous beach Playa Puntilla. The students and teachers spend a day in the coastal city of Cadiz where they visited Torre Tavira and had a tour of the watchtower while also spend time in parque Genoves. They also had the opportunity to taste the delicious churros with chocolate before they return by ferry to their base. Part of their trip was also a paella cooking class and a flamenco class that brought students closer to the culture of Spain! .
It was a pleasure having Schule am Burgfield School with us and we hope all students and teachers had an unforgettable experience!
