School Trip to Spain: Andalusia and El Puerto de Santa Maria

British School of Brussels 18th – 23rd June 2016

We were delighted to have BSB back with us again for yet another school trip to Spain in El Puerto de Santa María. The students all stayed with host families in the area of the school and seemed to have a great time with many opportunities to make international friends, learn more about Spanish culture and traditions and try some typical Spanish food.

They also enjoyed their various excursions and activities with Nico their chaperone, which included not only trips around El Puerto, Cádiz and Sevilla, but also some typical Spanish activities such as a flamenco dance lesson, a cookery lesson where they all made an exquisite paella, and the students and teachers even tried their hand at a game of padel!

They furthermore tried some churros con chocolate – a typical Spanish second breakfast, went to see a flamenco show and tried some Spanish tapas in a bodega in El Puerto. Everybody was extremely motivated to practice their Spanish and we hope all the students got a chance to appreciate Spanish culture and history and that they had a fantastic time together.

¡Nos vemos pronto amigos!
